Frequently asked questions

Do you accept insurance?

We are a private-pay practice. However, we can provide detailed documentation (a superbill) that families may submit to their insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurance company to verify benefits.

Who do you evaluate and support?

We work with children, adolescents, and young adults who may be experiencing learning challenges, behavioral concerns, emotional difficulties, developmental delays, or giftedness. We also support families seeking guidance and support strategies.

How long does the evaluation process take?

The evaluation process typically includes an intake meeting, testing sessions, scoring and analysis, and a feedback meeting to review results and recommendations. Timelines vary by evaluation type, but most are completed within a few weeks.

How much does an evaluation cost?

The cost of an evaluation varies depending on the type of assessment and the child's specific needs. After an initial consultation, we provide a clear fee estimate and discuss the services that best support your child.

What is a psychological or psychoeducational evaluation?

A psychological or psychoeducational evaluation is a comprehensive assessment that helps identify a child’s strengths, challenges, and learning needs. The results provide clear recommendations to support academic success, emotional well-being, and behavioral development at home and in school.

Do I need a referral to schedule an evaluation?

No referral is required. Parents, caregivers, schools, physicians, or therapists may contact us directly to schedule services.

Will the evaluation help my child receive school services?

Our evaluations provide detailed documentation and recommendations that may support eligibility for IEPs, 504 Plans, and testing accommodations. Final eligibility decisions are made by the school team.

How can parents support their child after an evaluation?

We provide clear, actionable recommendations and guidance to help families support their child at home and collaborate effectively with schools and other providers.
